Patients & records

Patient profiles, documents, and labels in Desk Clinic.

The Patients area is your clinic’s directory of people you care for. Everything is scoped to the active organization—you never see another clinic’s patients.

Patient list

Go to Patients (/dashboard/organization/patients).

  • Search and filter to find someone quickly.
  • Open a patient to see their profile, history, and links to encounters and related data (as your permissions allow).

Patient profile

A profile usually includes identifying and contact details your clinic captures. From here you can:

  • Open related encounters and clinical activity (if enabled for your role).
  • Manage files and attachments where Storage is available (see below).

Privacy

Only staff with the right module access should view or edit sensitive patient data. Admins can adjust access—see Roles & permissions.

Storage (files)

Storage (/dashboard/organization/storage) lets you keep documents and uploads associated with your workflow. Availability depends on your plan and how your admin configured the clinic.

Labels

Labels (/dashboard/organization/labels) help you tag or group records consistently (for example, cohorts or internal categories). Use them alongside patients and other objects where the product exposes label pickers.
