Most Malaysian GP mornings are cash or DuitNow at the counter, not a corporate TIN capture on every patient. MyInvois still applies when your phase-in date arrives—but the patient experience at the till should not become a tax interview unless they ask for an individual e-invoice.

A cash GP clinic that treats every walk-in like a B2B TIN hunt will slow Saturday. A clinic that cannot produce an individual e-invoice on request is also non-compliant once live.
What to do in the demo (cash path)
- Check in a self-pay patient (booked or walk-in).
- Finish the note so billing is tied to the visit.
- Issue an itemised invoice: consultation + one procedure or medication line. Line items, tax fields, and buyer/supplier identity must live on the invoice—not in a side spreadsheet.
- Collect cash, card, or DuitNow. For DuitNow, show the clinic QR if configured, then confirm funds received before recording a payment. Unverified QR is not a
Payment. - Ask the vendor, out loud: “If this patient does not want an e-invoice, does this visit go to the consolidated B2C batch? If they do want one, where do I store TIN so the next visit does not re-type it?”

We will not pretend production MyInvois is a finished switch for every clinic.
Already in the product: invoices and payments carry line items in sen, tax fields, currency, patient (buyer), and organisation (supplier). Status runs draft → issued → paid / void. Panel responsibility can sit beside patient collectible. Structured item presentation (sections and notes) does not become extra MyInvois money lines.
Still a roadmap item on the public e-invoice page: certified-middleware (or equivalent) submission, UUID/QR on the official copy, automated consolidated B2C batching, and credit-note workflow after the 72-hour window. If your phase-in date is close, contact us about early access rather than assuming go-live from a blog post.
Prepare now regardless of vendor: supplier TIN/BRN/MSIC on file, fee-schedule classification, and a written B2C policy (prompt everyone vs consolidate-by-default). The Malaysia compliance checklist and MyInvois readiness resources exist for that work.

Does a cash walk-in need a MyInvois QR on the thermal receipt?
Usually no, if they did not request an individual e-invoice. Those visits typically roll into the monthly consolidated B2C submission. Confirm the current LHDN schedule for your turnover band on the official portal.
Can I consolidate panel invoices?
No. Corporate panel and TPA invoices are B2B: individual e-invoices with buyer TIN, BRN, and address.
Is Desk Clinic “MyInvois certified” today?
Treat certification and production cutover as something you verify with us and your accountant. The data model is built so a later submission path does not require rebuilding invoices; the public page still describes integration as roadmap.
